I've "rescued" an old photograph of Mrs. Margaret BRENNAN (could be BRUMAN) OATHOUT which was taken at the Fredrick's Knickerbocker Gallery in New York City, NY in 1887. Margaret appears to be in her 20's or 30's at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I gathered the following information regarding Margaret and her family:
Margaret (b.1858) was the wife of Louis M. OATHOUT (b. 1858 in New York) the son of Elizabeth OATHOUT. Louis and Margaret had 5 children including, Margaret B.; Margaret N.; Rebecca; Amy T.; and Hellen H. OATHOUT, all born between 1880 and 1891. Louis had a brother William James OATHOUT (1858-1929) so he may have been a twin.
I’m hoping to locate someone from this OATHOUT Family so that the photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.

I want to build a place where my son can meet his great-grandparents. My grandmother Marian Joyce (Benning) Kroetch always wanted to meet her great-grandchildren, but she died just a handful of years before my son's birth.
So while she didn't have the opportunity to meet him, at least he will be able to know her.

One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.
