I love folk art, antique portraits, photos, mystery, poetry, and art. I've been a picker since my teens so I love all things old and interesting. Gen Xer born a month after Elvis died.
I live on a farm. That's all you're getting. Many years ago I had a dream about a group of my relatives I had never met. During Covid, I was thinking about them and my aunt called and this church had contacted her and given her an old, carved podium one of those ancestors (he was a carpenter) had made. She gave it to us (my dad, our side) as she knew we would want it. As soon as I saw it and the attached plaque tears streamed down my face! The podium holds significance in other ways too. One day I'll write it all down.
