Merchant and ShipOwner
Picture of a distinguished man, probably well-to-do, and is well-dressed.

Who is he? I think from information long ago from my Smith grandmother, that he was a wealthy merchant who had holdings and ships in New York City and Boston, MA, and he possibly was a Smith.

B Pridgen
I am researching the Smith family (of MA, CT, RI, Oneida Co., NY) and am also interested in obtaining pictures of Pridgens, Laniers, LeFever's, Brutons, Arthurs, van Aken's and Ackermans. Old pictures only 1830-1940s.
