.Michael was a football star at Cerro Gordo,Ill.high school and should have received a scholarship but had Hodges disease and could not play his last year of school.He was cured and living a happy life until a boy was passing three cars at a high rate of speed and hit Michael head on killing him instantly.Michael was 25years.3months,20days old at the time of the accident.Michael was a volunteer for the Cerro Gordo fire department,member of the Cerro Gordo United Methodist Church and Cerro Gordo Masonic Lodge #600 AF and FM.Michael also enjoyed music and was part of a church trio.
He was the grandson of Robert E.and Carmon Conder McManigell.
