Monty Thomas Weddell- Sunset High School

Monty Thomas Ousley Weddell is the child of Bertha Malissa Ousley and Wood Francis Weddell. He was born in East Texas with siblings Mary K, Wood F Weddell Jr, and Michel E Weddell, and they moved to Dallas, Tx in mid 1950's. He attended Winnetka Elementary, Greiner Jr. High, and Sunset H. S. graduating in the Class of '62. He then went on to attend North Texas State University (Denton, Texas, USA) where he majored in Business, History, Pre. Law. Monty was a member of UNT Track and Cross Country Team and numerous clubs. He married Vicki L. (Ellis) Weddell and had two children: DeAnna Louise Weddell and Bradford Ousley Weddell. He later has three grandchildren. He is owner of Consumer Management Service, a professional consulting firm and Thee Art Gallery. He was awarded AAU Mr. Dallas Bodybuilding. Championship in 1987 and a National Powerlifting Award. He has authored 48 volumes of history and is a local political activist and former Rep. Party candidate for the TX House Dist. #104. He enjoys stamp and coin collecting, paleontology, and genealogy.
