Phillip Leckner Beckert

I have an old studio photograph identified as Phillipp Leckner BECKERT. The photograph was taken at the Wesner Studio in Los Angeles, CA when Phillipp was just 5 months and 14 days old. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Phillipp and his family:

Phillip Leckner or Lechner BECKERT was b. 7 or 17 May 1897 in Los Angeles, CA to parents Rinehart or Reinhardt “Robert” Sebastian or Frank BECKERT (1864-1926) and Regina LECKNER or LECHNER (1861-1910) who were married 26 Jan 1892 in Los Angeles, CA. Phillip had two siblings, sisters Helen May or Marie BECKERT (1893-1964) and Edna Arzella or Azarella BECKERT (1895-1935). It appears that Phillip’s father was married to Ida SCHNEIDER after his first wife died and another son was born, Joseph “Joe” Francis Schneider BECKERT (1914-2002).

Phillip married Jane WOODARD (1897-1953) and they had a daughter, Stephie O’CONNOR (b. 1919). Phillip died 15 Jul 1956 in Los Angeles, CA. Phillip is buried at the Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach, CA.
