A photo of Purthena (Crawford) Lampman
She is my 2nd great grandmother (1817-1901). Married to James Lampman. They had six children. Purthena is the daughter of James and Betsy Crawford
AncientFaces genetics. My paternal grandmother was almost 90 when she died and she could have very easily passed as 50s. Only wrinkles she had were the common ones around her mouth. Her skin was smooth and no Botox or surgery. Her mother was the same and born very early 1900s. I'm hoping I inherited that!
Kathryn E Bass Same in my family. I don't have wrinkles (just crows feet) at almost 70. Haven't had surgery/botox but we have better creams now - crossing my fingers! :)
June Victoria Kondor I think you may be on to something because her hands aren’t gnarled and arthritic; they’re actually beautiful. And her complexion looks flawless and not wrinkled, as someone else observed, so she was either a teacher or librarian.
The info says that she died at age 90 but doesn't say how old she is in this photo (unless I overlooked that info). I'm guessing 70 b/c she is totally gray-haired but still has sharp eyes. Also, it looks like she was able to keep her teeth. Her hands also say about 70 years old. Maybe few wrinkles due to a mostly indoor life.
I love her clothes and the lace choker around her neck! The round glasses are pretty cool too! She looks like she used to be a teacher or a headmistress!
Yes I thought a tough school teacher can picture her with the cane they would've used then also I think if she smiled she would look like granny clampet from
The Beverley hillibilies lol 😂
She is a strong beautiful lady.. Her attaire was as such in that era... Dress her as a woman of today,, hair do and all the clothes. Her beautiful skin,, very classy!
