I have a large group of class photographs mounted together as follows:

1912 Class Photograph
Taken at the Rice Studio in North Manchester, IN
Originally belonged to Bessie SNYDER RABER of Logansport, IN

One of the classmates identified is Russell WERKING and based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Russell and his family:

Russell Earl WERKING was b. 23 Mar 1894 in North Manchester, IN to parents David WERKING (1864-1896) and Mary Catharine or Katherine Susan Cassie HORNING (b. 1867). Russell had two half-siblings, Charles E. HARTSOUGH (b. 1893) and Clarice Adaline TAIT (b. 1896).

Russell was married twice, first to Ruby Mae BUTTERBAUGH (1896-1956) who he married on 30 Jun 1917 in Silver Lake, IN and second to Iva Ann MONTEL RHOADES (1893-1985) on 14 Jan 1968 in North Manchester, IN. Russell and his first wife had 5 children including Phillip John WERKING (1925-2021) and Bonnie Lou WERKING SCHROLL (1928-2003) and Jean Eveline or Evelyn WERKING (1921-2014) and two other boys.

Russell died 4 Sept 1980 North Manchester, IN and is buried in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in North Manchester, IN.

I would like to get his photograph back to family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of his family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
