Theodore Ford Holmes
My great-grandfather, Theodore Ford Holmes, b. 13 March 1894 in Foxworth, Marion Co, MS d. 13 June 1974 in McComb, Pike Co, MS. He was the son of William David Holmes and Nancy Fidelia Boeme and the husband of Mary Jane Dunaway. He was the father of Eloise, T.J. (Theodore Julian) and Ralph Holmes. He had four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren before his death. He worked as a car repair machinist for the Illinois Central Railroad and retired after a career with the railroad. He developed Parkinson's Disease, probably an occupational hazzard, yet still lived to an advanced age.
