"Thompson Sister's"
The lady on the right has spectacles which appear to not have the lens totally framed.
The background to the pictures was typical in early studio pictures: most common pre WW1.
"sister's" should not have possessive (').
My honest guess is that this photo' is a recent old 'fake' . The spectacles give the earliest date as possibly 1955-60.
Nice analysis Derek! Kat, the member who added this photo, is a real wonderful person. She saved this photo and over a hundred like it from being tossed out. These are not her relatives. She's trying hard to reunite these photos with their families. If we can identify even one person in these photos then we can identify the rest! Thank you so much.
That is interesting! I put all of the photos away in a cool dry place for the eventual day someone contacts me and says "that's my family!" but now I'm tempted to pull them out and see if I can find any more clues.
I can't see the glasses well enough to say for sure, but I did find one on Etsy that might be similar:

Kat, I hope you do find more clues on this photo. 😂. It would be nice to see where it belongs to.

I'm interested in the dark hair lady .. the skinny one. With maybe the glasses on?? To the right. With the bracelet on. Behind the little girl with blonde hair
The lady on the end. Has some of my moms features. Her face. I hope someone finds out who they are ?? Lol
When I first seen this? It looked like my mom. The lady with the bracket on her wrist. She looks like my mom. The girl in the back has her hand on the shoulder. ( The one that looks like glasses on ) ❤️ pretty picture though

I am fascinated by old photographs, especially those of my ancestors and ones that show the history of cities I've visited (plus World's Fair photos). Old photographs separated from people who want them seem to be attracted to me which is good if I can find those people but also inconvenient because this is not an easy task.

I want to build a place where my son can meet his great-grandparents. My grandmother Marian Joyce (Benning) Kroetch always wanted to meet her great-grandchildren, but she died just a handful of years before my son's birth. So while she didn't have the opportunity to meet him, at least he will be able to know her. For more information about what we're building see About AncientFaces. My father's side is full blood Sicilian and my mother's side is a combination of Welsh, Scottish, German and a few other European cultures. One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.
