Found in an antique store. Written on the back: "Orrell C. Reed, Orpha's mother". The original photo was a bit faded so I retouched it slightly.

Home of Charles Miller & Kate Short Grove reconstructed after original was destroyed in a tornado in 1893. Later became the home of John and Margaret Grove until ca. 1941. This original site was on 160 acres of land granted to William Y. Grove for his service in the Union Army during the Civil War.
Postcard found at an antique show. Handwriting on the back is addressed to Mr. Floyd Ball, 810 W. Pine St., Independence, Kansas. "Dear Brother, I will send you a picture we had taken the 22 of Oct. Is it very cold there now and do you go very much in your chair or is it to [sic] cold roll over and see me some day. Bye Bye now." Very annoying that none of the people IN the photo are named. They sure are proud of that nice car.
Cities Services gas station. Owned with husband Percy in the 1940's.

Found in an antique store in Belton, Texas. According to the visible product labels, Independence Biscuit Company was based in Independence, Kansas and made "cakes, crackers and biscuits". This photo shows an assembly line of workers packaging what appear to be biscuits or large crackers. The product may have been baked in the same room - there are scorch marks on the brick wall nn the left foreground that may be an oven. I would guess that this photo was taken sometime in the early 20th century. It's hard to say exactly when because everybody is wearing work clothes - not exactly the latest fashion trends.

I’ve “rescued” an old photograph identified as Ada Wilson DUNDAS which was taken at the Bollow’s Art Studio in Osborne, KS. The photograph appears to have been taken in the early 1900’s with Ada likely in her 20’s at the time. I don’t know if “Wilson” is a middle name (maybe her Mother’s maiden name) or her own maiden name. I’m hoping to locate someone from her family so that this wonderful old treasure can be returned to the care of her family. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

A photo of Frank Everett Tabor, one of 12 children born to Francis Wolford Tabor and Laura Frances Lemon, Tabor. He was their 5th child, the 4th son. I have 2 studio photo's of Everett. I can not remember if this was at 16 years old or 19. His hair was already thinning a bit, but it was in the other photo too. It's just a three year difference, so not much change either way.
