Joseph and Annie Eakin
Joseph Samuel Eakin was the son of Elisha Lacy Eakin and Rhoda Rebecca Pugh. He was born in Caddo Parish Louisiana 8/22/1882 and died in DeSoto Parish 4/9/1959. Shown next to him is his wife Annie Elizebeth Hawthorn born 7/13/1885 and died 6/14/1971. They were married in 1906 and are both burried in Cool Springs Cemetery located north of Logansport, Louisiana in DeSoto Parish.
Susan Elizebeth Pugh
Was the daughter of Lewis Thomas Pugh and Harriet Amanda Virginia Simpson, daughter of Alfred Simpson. She was born in Springridge, Louisiana Caddo Parish 12/21/1861 and died in Giles County Tennessee 6/12/1877. Burried in Elkridge Cemetery which is also in Giles County Tennessee.

Burried in Keithville City Cemetery next to his father in Caddo Parish Keithville, Louisiana. His mother is burried in Cool Springs Cemetery DeSoto Parish Louisiana.

Was the son of Henry Clay Massey Sr. and Elizabeth Wilkerson Peddy. Born in Jackson Parish Louisiana 2/13/1883 and died 2/9/1942 in Jonesboro Jackson Parish Louisiana. Married Laura Eudora Smart 10/11/1902.

Was the daughter of James Valras Massey Sr. and Carrie Myrtle Crump born in Kilgore, Texas 10/31/1933 and died in Houston, Texas 8/20/2000. Worked many year's for SP Railroad in Houston. Married Horace Edmond Glenn. Burried Brookside Memorial Park Houston, Texas.

Was the son of Richard Lewis Eakin Sr. and Jennie Daugherty who were married 1/16/1914. He was born 11/22/1916 and died 7/30/1974 in Houston, Texas. He married Vivian Adelia Hooper in Joaquin, Texas. Had one brother, Joseph Lacy Eakin. He is burried in Jackson Cemetery Shelby County Texas. Photo taken in the Aleutian Islands in 1945.

Was the son of Siemon Pinkney Crump aka "Uncle Jack" and Caroline "Carrie" Dor Eakin. Born 6/6/1898 in Louisiana and died 5/4/1978 in Center, Texas. Married Mattie Myrtis Lilly 11/10/1925. Burried in Sholar Cemetery which is located on the Shelby and Panola County Line. Had one brother Oliver Lacy Crump and one sister Carrie Myrtle Crump. Lived his last years in the Fellowship Community of Shelby County Texas.

Burried in Sholar cemetery next to his wife, which is located on the Shelby and Panola County line. Married Elizebeth Scott 3/3/1923 and she preceded him in death 3/2/1933. They had four sons, Oliver Perry, Jimmy Ray, Samuel Pinkney and Harold Olsen Crump.
