This photo is a picture postcard, purchased at an antique mall in Fayetteville, Franklin Co, PA. I purchased this post card because it made me chuckle.

On the back of the picture, this is written: "This was taken on the porch where we room with a camera I was sewing and a fellow came along and said let me take your picture I said aright and this is what is left of me - look how fat I am getting..." the last couple of words are illegible. Handwritten along the bottom of photo reads "Grandpa Bogart and Wife." Printed on the extreme bottom of photo reads "The Roshon Studio."

"Grandpa Bogart" is somewhat related to Elmer Bogart, my Great-great-grandfather. I'd like to find out how Grandpa is related to Elmer.

The words along the border of the photo reads "May 63." I have a feeling it may be from at least ten years earlier. This photo was discovered in my late grandmother Doris Bogart-Rodman's photo collection. I believe the toddler is Doris' son/my father. I'm curious about who the woman may be.

Bottom right corner reads "Danville, PA." Written on reverse reads "Dad's father Bogart."

A Bogart cousin believes that "Dad's cousin Bogart" could be Samuel Bogart, brother of Elmer Bogart.
