This photo was taken around our 25th wedding anniversary at the church my husband pastors in LaFayette, Alabama.
Rev. Wayne and Dianna Collins Elliott: Dianna's father is Rev. George H. Collins they are also the grandchildren of Cora Ann Anderson Collins and Rev. Hubert V. Collins, Great granddaughter of Fronia Ann Atkinson / Anderson, Dianna's great great grandparents were Sarah Bolin Atkinson and Thomas Atkinson Sr. . My Great Aunt and Uncle were Sylvia Anderson Bishop and Issac Bishop - their daughter Marion Bishop has done a great deal of work providing Kelly Bialk with some Bolin family history and I thank the two of them along with everyone else for their help and support!

Grandmother said this picture was taken for their 25th wedding anniversary. She was the daughter of Fronia Ann Atkinson Anderson and George Edward Anderson. Also has family ties with the Bolin family. Sarah Bolin Atkinson and Thomas Atkinson Sr. were her maternal grandparents. She was the younger sister of Sylvia Bishop / Issac Bishop (Brother-in-law)

This picture is of the great granchildren of Cora Ann Anderson Collins and Rev. Hubert V. Collins. The baby "Hope" is the great, great, great, great granchild of Sarah Bolin Atkinson and Thomas Atkinson Sr.
The Baby is Hope Lumpkin (17 months old), with her parents Rebecca Elliott Lumkin (25) and Bryan Lumpkin (26), the standing man is Steven Elliott(26).
They are the children of Rev. Wayne and Dianna Collins Elliott. Dianna is the daughter of of Rev. George H. Collins and Jayne Smith
Collins, the grandaughter of Cora Ann Anderson Collins and Rev. Hubert V. Collins, great granddaughter to Fronia Ann Atkinson Anderson and George E. Anderson and the great great granddaughter of Sarah Bolin Atkinson and Thomas Atkinson Sr.

Cora Ann Anderson Collins was born Feb. 28th,1914 to Fronia Ann Atkinson Anderson and George Edward Anderson in Jasper, Arkansas. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Atkinson Sr. and Sarah Bolin. She was married to Hubert Vernal Collins of Detroit, Mi. in 1930. A mother of five sons / 2 daughters died at birth. (Living in Detroit, Michigan when children were born) Sons: Arnold/deceased (Onalee) Collins MI., Arvil/deceased (Ardith) Collins MI. ,George (Jayne/deceased)Collins AL., James (Juanita) Collins MI., Edward (Rita) Collins TX. Date of her death was Feb. 10th, 2003 in Valley, AL. Cora Collins is buried next to her husband in Moulton, Alabama.
Cora Collins was married at age 16 years, she spent her life as a mother and preachers wife, her favorite Bible verse was Romans 8:28...it turned out to be a family verse - as she always included it in all of her cards and letters. We loved her in life and miss her now that she is in Heaven with grandfather and our other family members. They are in a far better place then we are.
In honor of my grandmother and with all my love I dedicate this page to her and to my wonderful father - George H. Collins.

Cora was the daughter of Fronia Ann Atkinson Anderson, and the Grandaughter to Sarah Bolin Atkinson.

Rev. Hubert Collins was the pastor at Cherryville Baptist Church for many years.
His parents were William T. and Dannie May Collins - he was born in Hancock County, Tenn. along with several brothers: Roy, Arvil, William (Bill),James, he also had two sisters, Marie and Olivia. His parents are burried in Pineville, KY.

This picture was taken on their 22nd wedding anniversary at a family gathering in their honor.

Cora's mother was Fronia Ann Atkinson Anderson her father was George Edward Anderson, her grandparents were Sarah Bolin Atkinson and Thomas Atkinson Sr.
