Sloan, Betty, Coleman were nieces and nephews of Jim, the others are his children. Lived in house his father James Charles Pickett bought after Civil War Jim and Laura died around 1930 Jim died at the dinner table.

This is Oliver Albert Brintle's grave marker located in Timberland subdivision. This stone was in the woods for a long time there are other graves but just have rocks as head stones. This is on Dallas Acworth Hwy. His son named Oliver Franklin is buried in crossroads cemetery;also, located in Paulding Co on Dallas-Acworth Hwy. When the Brintle's lived there the land was called Brintle's mountain. On Caswell Co NC, marriage bonds, in gen web,
found Salley Brown Married Oliver Brintle Feb 24, 1816.

l-b George Pickett, l-f Della Corhan Pickett, and some of the others are Alabama Picketts and Cleghorn,s at a reunion in Alabama back in 50/60's. The Cleghorn,s are related to Brintle through Prewetts from Dallas Ga. They are related to Pickett's through a Sarah Pickett, also.

Daughters of Will West from paulding co ga, stepdaughters of Ethel Bell, the family lived in Fulton Co GA and Will was a police officer in East Point GA. so my mother said. This was probably in early 1900,s. Ethel was the sister of Edwin Adolph Bell, Jane Bell Hicks, Alma Bell Fair lived in Cartersville GA, and Ike Bell lived in decatur I guess in Dekalb Co or Fulton. Edwin and Jane stayed in Dallas Paulding Co GA in the High Schoals District. They moved from Rome, Floyd Co to Paulding Co and before that their father Thompson Bell and WIfe who was a Tant, lived in Augusta GA and moved to Rome GA. I believe I found somewhere at one time that Issac Bell or Thompson Bell was buried in Temple GA. Children of Issac are Ike, Edwin Adolph and alma Bell Fair, ethel Bell West, and Jane bell Hicks.

Brenda, Joyce, Mike & Nancy are all cousins and Edwin and Elizabeth Hicks Bell are their Grand Parents or Great Grandparents. Ed was from Rome GA and He and Elizabeth lived their lifes in Dallas, Paulding Co GA.

Will and Ethel Bell West were from Dallas, Paulding Co GA. Ethel was Will,s second wife as his first wife had died and he had children when he married Ethel and they had children. Will and Ethel lived in Fulton Co GA the Atlanta area he was a police officer in East Point I know that she had a daughter named Lois and more children.
Ethel,s father was Issac Tant Bell m to a Rawlings from Rome GA, Issac father was Thompson Bell married to a Tant from Augusta GA at some point Thompson moved his family to Rome, Floyd Co GA and then the children migrated to Dallas, Paulding Co GA
Ethel brothers and sisters were Edwin Adolph BELL m to Elizabeth Hicks dallas ga, Ike Bell Atlanta or decatur ga, Ike died when hit by streetcar, Jane Bell Hicks m to Aker Hicks dallas GA, Alma Bell Fair Cartersville ga husband worked for railroad.

John's wife and son. someone has written on the xerox copy that if Edwin had lived he would have been 88 on 7-14-1995.
William M Buck Hicks died at his house on Braswell Mt, He was 88 yrs old Born in Paulding Co GA. He leaves behing three sons William Acker and Samuel D, and John Noel of selma ALA.
Four daughters Mrs R F (Sudie) Taylor, Lizzie Bell, Ludie Sheppard who lived in Paulding Co GA, and Mattie Portwood who lived in Fulton CO GA. He was married to Francis Anderson who in the 1860 census the Andersons shows Noah 47, Susan 41, Cena 17, Nancy 15, Sarah 12, Francis 7, WM 6 and James 6.

This is Elizabeth Brintle married to James Charles Pickett, from Dallas Georgia.
parents: Oliver sr. and Sarah Brown Brintle who were Buried in the Brintle Cemetery now in a subdivision on Acworth Hwy Paulding Co GA. The old Pickett cemetery had a house built over it back in the 60's I guess that this is where Elizabeth and JC were buried. The Cemetery was on the Due West RD close to Pickett's Mill Park that was also where Malachia and Mary were buried. The Brintle's came to GA from Caswell SC/NC around 1830.

Howard & Gladys were married in the 1930,s they lived in Alabama mostly. They had H.T, Margaret, John, Wade & Perry. Howard was son of Edwin Bell and Elizabeth Hicks from Dallas, Paulding Co GA. Howard,s brothers were Ernest, Chester, Paul eugene and his sisters were Addie Leo, Birlie Mae, Mattie Ruth, Annie Lou, His Bell gp were Issac Tant Bell & Nancy Rawlings and Hicks gp were William Hicks & Francis Anderson according to the 1960 Paulding Co census his Anderson ggp were Noah 47, Susan 41,b& s were cena 17, nancy 15, sarah 12, francis 7, WM 6, James 6. Bell ggp were Thompon Bell and a Tant who were in Augusta GA before moving to Rome GA, Floyd Co.

Tant Bell from Augusta GA. GGGGP of Mallie was Macajah Pickett JR and Susanna Thompson Johns from Rutherford NC.

This is Edwin Adolph Bell and some of his relatives who visited him that he had not seen in a long time which pleased him, he died in 1951.

Addie Bell married Hoke Matthews in Dallas Paulding Co GA lived in Paulding and Powder springs in Cobb Co GA where they died and are buried in Powder springs GA in an old cemetery but beautiful. Three children Marvin, Mary Kate and Genieva Idell Matthews. Marvin buried in Arlington ceme in sandy springs GA, Idell buried in ceme on Marietta Dallas hwy.Mary Kate husband buried in same cemetery.
