Finley Beard placed an ad in the Western Story Magazine looking for his adopted sister Lucille Beard (Lucille (Tull) Tapp after adoption). He found her through the ad.
Research shows that Lucille was born in Minnesota and adopted in Shawnee Oklahoma. She married George Mann Tapp and had 5 boys. Used the last name Plum when filing for SS# in 1938 and remarried to Frank H. Palmer in Oregon 1938. Any information would be greatly appreciated to Lucille Beard's adoption and heritage.

Robert Thomas Beard of Vancouver, Clark County, WA was born on May 11, 1922, and died at age 58 years old in October 1980.
Finley Beard was born on March 23, 1901, and died at age 47 years old on October 10, 1948. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Finley Beard.
Ann Gorbutt ( Ball )
Ann Gorbutt was born 1831 in Owthorne, Yorkshire, England to
William Gorbutt and Mary Rafton. She married William Ball and raised 13 children in Clinton, Ontario, Canada. William built her a brick house that had 22 rooms. I have more information compliments of Dayrl Ball.

James Gorbutt was born in Canada April 29th 1867 and died January 22nd 1945 in Florida. His first wife was Annie Randall. His only child was daughter Cornillia born November 15th 1893. His second wife was Ida Lowe. James is the second oldest son to Robert and Elizabeth Gorbutt.
