About me:
I love antique photographs. In addition to sharing old photos of my family, I am also going through my collection of "antique store people". They've been sitting in a storage tub in my back room much too long and maybe some of their families will be able to find them here.
If I'm able to identify the people in the photo, I upload it not only to AncientFaces, but also to Ancestry, FamilySearch, and Find-A-Grave. If the person in the picture is a military veteran, the photo also goes on Fold3. I figure that the more places I upload these pictures, the greater the chance that a relative will be able to find them.

Dot and her cat "Boobetta McNutt". The cat was originally named for comic strip character "Boob McNutt", but then she had kittens and had to be renamed.

This was in a big box of family photos sent to me by a relative. Unfortunately, there is no name on it anywhere so I don't know whether this little boy is a relative or a friend of the family.
Little boys used to be dressed like this before they were potty trained. A girl this age would usually have had a bit frillier outfit - more ribbons, bows, etc.

This was in a big box of family photos sent to me by a relative. Unfortunately, there is no name on it anywhere except for the signature "Affectionately, Marge", so I don't know whether this woman is a relative or a friend of the family.
Soft focus can be a nice effect, but I think this photographer may have overdone it a little.

Lady with big teeth
This was in a big box of family photos sent to me by a relative. Unfortunately, there is no name on it anywhere so I don't know whether this woman is a relative or a friend of the family. I love her outfit, but I hope those prominent teeth didn't cause her any problems.
