Erwin Patyk of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin was born on December 17, 1907, and died at age 69 years old in December 1976.
Erwin Patyk was my grandfather on my mothers side, he died in 1976, before I was born in February 1977, so I never was able to meet him, I have one photograph of him that I will try to post here, it was taken at my parents wedding and he is dancing with my grandmother from my fathers side “ Sophie Erdman” I was told by my mother that he passed away from lung cancer in the VA hospital. This happened while my mother was pregnant with me.

Evelyn Patyk was my grandmother on my mothers side, she passed away when my mother was only 16, so I never had the chance to meet her, my husband and I named our oldest daughter after her, our oldest daughter is Evelyn Rose. I have very little information about her and I have Never seen a photo of her, I would love to learn more about her and see a picture of what she looked like, my mother use to say I resemble her but as I have never seen a photo of her I honestly do not know.

I just recently found out that Emil Patyk was my Great Uncle on my mothers side, I never met him, only recently discovered him after discovering my Great Aunt Silvia Zembinski who lived in Three Lakes, WI. Would like to learn more about him as well as the Patyk side or my mothers side of the family.

Emil John Patyk was born on June 24, 1906 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is the son of Joseph Patyk and Rose Lewandowska. His father was from Germany and his mother was from Poland.
On June 21, 1930 Emil married Regina Ruth Krukowski (1909–1972) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. Together they had a son Emil Patyk Jr (1928-1928).
He served in the US Army during World War II as a a Private First Class. He served from December 1, 1942 until his discharge on November 6, 1943.
