Steven S Kijak of Chicago, Cook County, IL was born on April 15, 1906, and died at age 89 years old on December 23, 1995.
Uncle Steve, my Dad's brother. Was born and resided in Donora, PA, later resided in Lublin, WI and still later in Chicago, IL. Single, no children.
Served in US Army. I remember seeing a photo of him standing in front of the Egyptian pyramids in his uniform. He told me because of his food background, he dealt with meat purchases for his Army Division.
With only an 8th grade education, he built a grocery and butcher shop business at
5050 S. Archer Ave., Chicago, IL. Retired to, then, Higley, AZ with his two sisters, Agnes and Helen.
Felt strongly about his nieces and nephews achieving college degrees.
He walked me down the aisle on my wedding day after my Dad passed away.

Robert G Kijak of El Cajon, San Diego County, CA was born on September 7, 1928, and died at age 63 years old on January 17, 1992. Robert Kijak was buried at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery

Lucille M Kijak of El Cajon, San Diego County, CA was born on July 30, 1904, and died at age 84 years old on May 28, 1989.
Irene Kijak of Evergreen Park, Cook County, IL was born on June 1, 1916 at Cicero, IL, and died at age 91 years old on July 5, 2007 at Home in Evergreen Park County, Cook County. Irene Kijak was buried at Resurrection Cemetery, in Justice County.
