Alyson Williams
About me:
My paternal side are the Coopers, Beachs, and Brown from upstate NY. The Browns were from Ireland and arrived in the mid-1800s. The Coopers we suspect may have been Ulster Scots, first documented William Cooper b. in NY in 1821. The Beaches and Rockefellers we know little about. Maternal side is more recently Irish: Greens, Skellys, and Sheridans from County Cavan. Also researching my husband's families: Towns of and Williams of Arkwright and Forestville, NY, and Caminzind, originally from Switzerland.
About my family:
I haven't shared details about my family.

Susie Brown Beach
This is a photo of my great grandmother, Susie Brown Beach, born about 1879, died March 1905.
Her parents were Thomas Brown of Ireland and Nancy Minerva Andress of Pennsylvania. Thomas Brown was part of a family of brothers and sisters who came to Colchester NY from Ireland in the 1840s and 1850s. The Browns settled in Colchester NY and were farmers. Susie Brown married Dr. William H. Beach, a dentist, and lived in Phoenix NY. She died shortly after giving birth to her third child, a son.
