About me:
I haven't shared any details about myself.
About my family:
we are descendants of Thomas Jefferson (grandfather of president) through Priscilla who married into the Farrar/Vaughn/Jordan family of Jamestown area.Google Cicely __Jordan Banks Farrar she came in 1609 on the Godsspeed as a 10 year old child (thankfully the year after the other child was eaten or I would not be here) she had a very interesting life and her own law on the books.
My Moats and Nixons are from, Antrim by way of Scotland.
Every VanHoveln and Weinrank in this country came from the same little poldar in Ostfriesland--Dutch or German depends on who won the war this week.
All McCrohans in the country come from the same little rocky point in Kerry Ireland. The Goldens were not too far away and we think they "met at the crossroads".

Queen Elizabeth II & Mamie Eisenhower - White House
Queen Elizabeth II being greeted at the White House by Mamie Eisenhower.
This was sheer genius on Mamie's part, To Greet H.M. as she ascended the steps thereby giving the appearance of bowing without actually bowing. She was not coached. I love the look on Ike's face, just beaming with pride.

B.B. King, Blues Legend
This is an early photo of Mr Riley B. King (1925 - 2015) described as a blues singer, song writer, and guitarist - but better described as legend.
B.B. King (his stage name) was born in Mississippi on a cotton plantation near the town of Itta Bena. His parents were sharecroppers. His recording career began with his first single in 1949. It took a couple of years for him to catch on, but when he did, a legend was born.
He was married twice and had between 11 and 15 children. At the time of his death, on May 14th, 2015, he was living in Las Vegas.
You could say "the thrill is gone" but his music and his guitar, Luciille, will be with us forever.
Thank you, B.B!
