SHE WAS BORN AT HER GRAND PARENTS HOUSE, GEORGE WASHINGTON AND LULA LEE RILEY KINNIS IN CRITTENDEN COUNTY.. SHE ATTENDED SISCOS CHAPEL GRADE SCHOOL AND CRITTENDEN COUNTY HIGH SCHOOLIN MARION, KY. MABLE DOOMS WHEELER, SALLY MOORE,AND MRS. PIGEON AND EUEL HARDEN WERE HER GRADE SCHOOL TEACHERS SHE GRADUATED SECOND IN HER CLASS OF 75 FROM CRITTENDEN COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL IN 1955.. SHE HAD ONE SISTER, PATRICIA ANN KINNIS BORN DECEASED. ON DECEMBER 8, 1956 SHE MARRIED HER HIGHSCHOOL SWEETHEART, CARLIN COOK. HIS PARENTS WERE VIRGIL ELGIN, SR. AND SYBLE THOMAS COOK. Hildred Banks Kinnis was my Very special kind, loving , caring Mother. She was the daghter of Delbert and Denia Banks of Rosiclare, IL. She had a sister Ethel Mae Banks Lane, two brothers Cecil and Arthur Banks. She married Robert Oliver Kinnis on March 2, 1936. On Febuaryi 3, 1937 they welcomed a daughter Barbara Jean.
