I remember great Grandma Rose visiting us when we were little and my little brother acting up. Grammy didn't take to that and told my grandpa ( her son) to take care of his attitude by giving him some of "the attention" he seems to be acting up for. Grandpa took him to the spanking room and calmed him down. Grammy was stern when it came to manners and respect and definitely the way you spoke. She was also loving. She told you if you were right or wrong with no filter. No cuss words just blunt. She said it as she say it. Period. Whether you liked it or not. You were going to hear it. Now I know where I get it.

Rose Edna (Duffy) Behrle of Bremerton, Kitsap County, Washington United States was born on December 17, 1899 in Peoria, Peoria County, IL to James Duffy and Katie Duffy. Rose Behrle had a sister Maxine Beulah Duffy. She married Francis William Behrle in Kitsap County, Washington. She also married Francis William Behrle in Kitsap County. Rose Behrle died at age 92 years old on December 29, 1991 in Bremerton, Kitsap County, and was buried at Sunset Lane Cemetery, in Port Orchard.
