This document is from the research of D. O. Manschardt, MD who is now deceased. He noted that his research should be considered a starting point for others in attempting to trace their ancestry & hoped it would provide a basis for further research... There are several handwritten pages by Dr. Manschardt in addition to his pages of references to court records, Renfro land documentation, and family charts. See the 'foreword' to his research also posted to this site, where the document notes probable errors in some of his family charts.
