Leon James Robideau II was born to Leon James Robideau I (1903 - 1982) and Mary V Ryan (1904 - 1996). He had four siblings, brother James L. and sisters Margaret, Mary Helen, and private Robideau.
Leon was born in Malone, New York. When he was 3, the family moved to nearby Duane and when he was 13, they moved to Bellmont, New York. When he was 14, they were living in Massachusetts, where he lived until 1993, when he moved to Owls Head, New York, where he died.
Leon Robideau married on June 10, 1957, in Springfield Massachusetts and he had daughters Beverly and Carol.
