i am looking for Robert Elmer and family. Robert was born in W.Virginia in 1852. He married Emma C. Gude and they had 9 children with 5 chldren surviving. Modena,Ernie, Wilie Mae, Elmer and Jesse, They show up on the 1910 census but not before that. Robert owned either a confection shop or liquor store in Thurber,Tx.

I am looking for proof that this or isn't Mary(Polly) Ann Butler. On the backof tis photo was written - Permelia Ann Butler great grandmother of Ellen Neal Crawford. Father was one of the Chief Butlers of the Cherokee Nation. I think my mother meant Mary(Polly) Ann Butler,because ther is no {Permelia Ann Butler that I can find connected to my tree. Mary on the other hand was my mother great grandmother and her family is suppose to be Cherokee.
If anyone has any information I could love to clear this mystery up.

I am hoping someone can identify this man. He maybeJoseph dela Baume who owned a plantation in Northern La or he could be Joseph Preston.This picture is from the 1800s I think.
