Lucinda "Tinnie" Hornbacker b. 1863 Mapleton, IL d. 1909 Morgan Park, Chicago, IL. Married Isaac Seymour Haight of St Louis, MO in 1904. No children.
Albert Joseph Hornbacker b. 1866 Mapleton, IL. D. Peoria, Il. Married 1904 Martha "Mattie" Brees, dau of Samuel Brees and Elvira Craig Brees of Tazewell Co, IL. Had two children" Gerald Brees Hornbacker and Genevra May Hornbacker Marvin, both of Peoria, IL. AJ was a Manager for Block and Kuhl Dept Store in Peoria, IL and they lived on MCClure Ave in Peoria. He attended 1st baptist church of Peoria. Both Lucinda and Albert Joseph where the youngest children of Jos. c. Hornbacker (1826-1900) and Eliza Maple Hornbacker(1832-1916) of Mapleton/Peoria, IL.

Howard Maple Hornbacker born Aug 7, 1898 Peoria ,IL. Youngest son of John David Hornbacker (1859-1941) and Mary Ellen Schwenk (1863-1904). He graduated from Peoria HS in 1917. He earned his typwriting certificate from the Underwood Typewriter Co., He was a violinist in the Peoria Symphony Orchestra in 1916+. In 1926, he met Bealuh Mae Miller (1906TN-1978OH)(who was attending Brown's Secretarial school and lived at Mrs. Peterson's boarding house)through a coworker (who lived at the boarding house too) and after 5 weeks, they were married April 25, 1926 in Peoria Co, IL. Howard was an accountant at Jewel T. They lived on N. Samuel Ave. in Peoria, IL. In Mid thirties , Howard went to work for Caterpiller Tractor Co. in Peoria as a timekeeper and retired from them in mid 1960's. They moved from N.Samuel in Peoria to Zesson St in Creve Ceour, IL. They had three Daughters. Howard was a Lodge Master in the Masonic Lodge and Deacon in the Baptist Church. In 1978, Bealuh passed from Cancer in Paulding, Ohio (living with youngest dau), and Howard passed in Greenville, SC in 1990 (two weeks to the day after his sister Lola).

John David Hornbacker at 20. JDH was born May 5, 1859 in Mapleton, IL to Jos. C Hornba(c)ker and Eliza Maple Hornba(c)ker. He was named John after his granfather, John Hornbaker and David after his Uncle David Hornbacker(Union army Civil War). He married Mary Ellen Schwenk (1863-1904) in 1888 Peoria, IL. She was the love of his life. they had 3 children: Lola May(1889-1990), Gilbert Frederick (1893-1964), and Howard Maple (1898-1990). Mary Ellen passed from TB in 1904 and in 1906 he married Mary "Mayme" Evan Le Gear, the housekeeper. JD and Mayme had two children: Joseph Ward (1907/8-1983), and Madeline (1909-1912). JDH was a well known music teacher in Peoria ,IL. He always wore a vest when he was older with a watch chain. Mayme and JD split up in early 20's and he moved in with Lola and Howard. Attended 1st Baptist Curch of peoria, IL. Buried in Springdale Cem next to his first wife and her family. His 2nd wife is also buried in Springdale Cem but on the other side by Madeline.

Wedding photo of Eliza Maple Hornbacker. She was born July 30, 1832 Guernsey Co, Ohio and was the twin to Isaac Maple Jr. Her parents were Isaac Maple (1804-1884)and Mary "Polly" Jones Maple. In 1832/3 when the twins were 6 months old they removed from Ohio to Hollis Township, Peoria Co, IL by wagon. The family was part of a larger extended family (Maples, Fullers, Jones, and others)that made the move together. Eliza married Joseph Hornbacker (sometimes spelled Hornbacher or Hornbaker)in 1850 Peoria Co, IL. Her father gave them land and her brothers built them a homestead. It was still standing outside Mapleton as of 1990. In 1900, Jos. and Eliza moved to Peoria, where he passed, and she lived with her son, Isaac Maple Hornbacker,Esq. (1854-194_) until her passing in 1916. She was a very kind woman and took care of the sick (even those with TB, who others would not). Slept in large down rope bed, made flapjacks for grandchildren (would rise overnight) and always wore a bonnet with a big bow under chin to church. Attended La Marsh Baptist (Mapleton) and 1st Baptist Church of Peoria. Her children were: Mary Maple Hornbaker(1851-1852), Isaac Maple Hornba(c)ker (1854-194_), John David Hornbacker (1859-1941), Lucinda "Tinnie" Hornbacker Haight (1862-1909), Albert Joseph Hornbacker (1866-195_)and Emma(1867-1871).
