About me:
On my mother's side I am researching Shores, Johnson, King, Taff, Maxwell, Shepherd, Houston, Spencer. On my father's side I am researching Admire, Hinchey, Keaton, and Jones. The family I have personally studied the most is the Shores. We have our family reunions at Shores Lake outside of Fern, Arkansas every October. This is for the descedants of my great grandparents William Emmett King and Effie Eula Johnson Family.

This my grandmother Marilyn June (Maxwell) King. She was born on June 5, 1930 in Montezuma, Kansas (Gray County) to Walter Perry Maxwell and Mabel Lela (Shepherd) Maxwell. She Married John Phillip King of Arkansas on July 24, 1948 in Clayton,New Mexico. They spent their life in Shamrock, Texas. They had five children. She died of cancer on June 29, 2004 in Amarillo, Texas.
