Frieda Juilianna Henrieta (Hennings) Springer was born in 1878 in Lunden, Schleswig-Holstein Germany, and died at age 90 years old in 1968 in Chico, California United States. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Frieda Springer.

Henry Edward Springer of San Francisco, California United States was born in 1883 in San Francisco, and died at age 67 years old in 1950 in Larkspur.

Ralph was born in San Francisco to his mother Frieda Hennings-Springer and father Henry Springer. Frieda was born in Lunden, Germany and his father was also of German decent but born in San Francisco. With his wife Serena Azalda Winn-Springer ("Zel"), they had three children, Judy, Bruce, and David (me) and four grandchildren.
Ralph worked for his father in the feed and coal distribution business, the H.E. Springer Coal Company, until 1939 when he joined the Square D company. He was too old to be drafted into service at the start of WWII and was later exempted due to his work in essential industry. Zel was a bookeeper for the Schlage Lock Company, then in its infancy, until she began having children in 1938.
Ralph was a devoted husband and father and led his family on many adventures, including on watercraft he built or rebuilt and camping and hiking trips. He was respected for his intuitive and skilled mechanical abilities and never stopped being curious. In his youth he was active in DeMolay and became a Mason and Shriner. He was known for his honesty and integrity. Though a conservative Republican, with his strongly held values he would not recognize the Republican party of 2020's.

Jere H Curry of Davis, Yolo County, CA was born on March 6, 1927, and died at age 65 years old in July 1992.
