By all appearances, this photo may have been taken toward the end of or right after the Civil War. Since the relative among whose things it was found was raised in Virginia on or near Lee's Plantation, the women may be part of, or even the co-founders of the Sisters Of The Confederacy. I need to find out if anyone recognizes this group or knows who the women are. There was nothing written on it, it is not in my possession. My aunt Sallie Marie Zahn has it. I photo'd it with my digital. It was in Gr-Aunt Lillian's things, she married a Davis. (Davis, Lee Or Zahn)

Charles was from Missouri so he was always know as Missoui......pronounced Mazoo. He was married to Alma's sister Bertha Smith known as Bert. They lived in Oroville CA for many years. Elma and Bert died there. I think Mazoo went back to MO very late in life and died there.

Charles "Pa" Tyson, member of the San Francisco Fire Department on fire truck on January 31st, 1900.

Charles was a Fire fighter in San Fran Engine co 1. He was lead Hose man....
I think they would have been living in San Fran at the time of this photo.

David was married to Mary Douglas. He was a Iron Molder in Placerville CA They had 8 children Lillian , Ida May, Maragret< Susie, George, Bessie, Kittie, and Tommie.
A lot of this family lived in Fresno Ca
I show this sometimes as Davies and some times davis....but I believe it should be Davies...
