This photo was found in my Grandmother's stuff. I do know Mary & Susan Lester are grandchildren of Lydia & Henry Zarndt. I have alot more pictures of Mary & Susan. I don't know much more than this.

this is a photo of Leo Arthur Hoppe son of Albert Julius Hoppe & Mathilda (Krause) Hoppe. It was taken at his apartment in Waupaca, Wisconsin. He was 1st married to Mabel Amanda Hildestad and then to Lillian Markhardt. He was the father of; Ralph,Ferne,Joyce,& Shirley

Ralph Harold Hoppe was the son of Leo Arthur Hoppe & Mabel Amanda (Hildestad) Hoppe. He was the big brother to Ferne, Joyce, & Shirley - (and we found out late in life) the little 1/2 Brother to Rollin Bell.
Ralph was an English Professor at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota before he retired
Although I'm not sure when this photo was taken i guessed around 2000, as I think it was taken a couple of years before he passed away. This is the picture that was picked when we had his "celebration of life" ceremony on Jan. 11, 2003 at the College in Moorhead. He really did touch many peoples lives with his Humor, wisdom, & his just plain caring about people. Uncle Ralph - You are truely missed by many!
