Joined U.S. Navy in 1943 and served as a gunners mate 3rd class during World War II in the Pacific. Upon his discharge in 1946.

With the research I've been doing this seems to be Monroe and Mary Jane (Crisp) Ashworth. Photo listed as Grandpa and Grandma Ashworth. Which makes them my Great-great grandparents on my mother's side.
