Nicholas Gibbs Martin and Rebecca Sexton was my gr gr grandparents. They migrated to IN in 1838-39 as they showed up first in 1840 Census there. Interested in info for his parents and grand parents.

Nicholas & Rebecca Sexton Martin
Nicholas G. Martin and Rebecca Sexton were born in eastern Tennessee in 1811 and 1814. They moved to Lawrence County, Indiana in 1840, from Grainger County, TN, on a mule with their feather bed. They had nine children. Three sons served in the Civil War.
