tin photo of unknown girl
tin photo, girl has on plaid dress, has some sort of bracelet on right wrist, lace or crochet color and bottom of sleeve. Any info at all welcome. Plaid? Tin photos? The lace/crochet. I know it is most likely 1800's. May be able to somewhat guess who she is by decade knowledge.
Anyone who could guess a decade by style of clothes. This MAY be my great great grandmother Mary Foote Gassagne. Any tidbits welcome or comments. It does not say where taken. I put Los Angeles as lot of family from there. Could be Kentucky as I have family from there too. Thanks.

Gassagne girl?
This was found in my great grandmother's trunk. Is it her as a young girl? She was born in Calif. 1878. Her mother was half Native American and father was French. Can anyone shed any light? Thanks!
The mystery is described above. I would like to know if anyone may recognize this girl or place the approximate date. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Maria & Elena Gassagne? CA 1880's
Possibly Maria & Elena Gassagne in the 1880's? This photo has a photography studio on the back of a place in Los Angeles, California. When I researched it was down the street from Elena's father's livery stable and during the correct time. I am assuming this is Mary and Elena. Mary was half Native American. Can anybody shed any light? Does anyone know why the child's head is shaved? Both were born in Los Angeles, CA. Photo taken around 1880's. Elena's father was Charles Gassagne and he had a livery stable on Main St.
Any little tidbit would be gratefully received.
I would like to know if this is indeed my great grandmother and her mother. And why the child's head might be shaved. Does the woman look like she could be part Native American. Her mother was also born in Los Angeles, CA in the 1830's. (Refugio Garcia).

Claude Allen Foote
Claude Allen Foote was postmaster of the Sulphur, Kentucky post office. Not sure when. Early 1900's to 1920 possibly. (Looking for his family as we have no information as to his parents, brothers, sisters, etc. Only that he was born in Kentucky in the late 1800's.)

Unknown couple, Kentucky
This photo was found in some of my grandmother's things. Would love to know who they are. We figure they might be Stamper, Fraley, Bowling, Howard or Adkins. They were probably from around Elliott County Kentucky or Wisconsin.
Who they are?

Striking Longshoremen in San Francisco
Striking longshoremen in front of Frank's Cafe during a waterfront strike in San Francisco, California. Look at the sign at the left on the building. I think it says that the store will have been in business 64 years in 2000 AD!
