He was my grandpa on my dad’s side. ♥️ I would love to know more about his lineage. Most of the family I’ve known from my dad’s side are on my grandmas side, Tima Ayala. Her maiden name was Montoya who I know a little more about her ancestry, thanks to my cousin Laura Sepulveda Benjamin sharing her discoveries with the family.

John Ayala of Gardena, Los Angeles County, CA was born on March 3, 1912 in Gardena, and died at age 95 years old on May 3, 2007 in Gardena. John Ayala was buried at Roosevelt Memorial Park Cemetery 18255 Vermont Ave, in Gardena.
He was my grandfather on my mom’s side. I haven’t been able to find much info on the Mingura family and origins. I know my grandpa was born in Morenci, Arizona, and his father’s name was Carlos and mother Juana.
My grandma Margaret Mingura once told me she taught my grandma how to speak Spanish because he did not know the language when they first met.
I don’t know how this could be during that time.

Manuel Marquez Mingura of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California United States was born on January 30, 1911 in Morenci, Greenlee County, AZ, and died at age 80 years old on December 10, 1991 at San Pedro in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, CA. Manuel Mingura was buried at All Souls Cemetery & Mortuary in Long Beach.
