2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
Burt Reynolds, 1978
Burt Reynolds, 1978
A photo of Burt Reynolds on Johnny Carson's "Tonight Show" in 1978. Comedian Steve Martin dared him to shave his famous mustache - Burt borrowed a razor from a prop man and shaved half of his mustache off. He also put a prop arrow on his head! While Burt was known as a sex symbol (remember his "Cosmopolitan" nude centerfold in 1972?) he was also famous for his sense of humor.

Born Burton Leon Reynolds Jr. on February 11, 1936 in Lansing Michigan, Burt died on September 6, 2018 in Jupiter Florida. He had one son who was born in 1988. His cause of death has been listed as cardiac arrest. RIP, Mr Reynolds.
