Gus Chalas May 21, 1896 - Jan 14, 1970 Jacksonville, Florida

Gus Andrew Chalas was born on May 21st, 1896, according to his headstone, in Chios, Greece to Kyriakos Andrew "Andy" Chalas and Argyro "Angie" Tsichla, who died in 1960. Gus first married Edna Mae Wilmoth Combs (1919 - 1984) in May of 1941 in Newport News, Virginia. He then married Katherine Elois Mobley (1919 - 1963) sometime before 1951 and they divorced in 1965 in Duval County, Florida. He had also married Pauline A.
