My mom's side of the family is Swedish (and still lives in Sweden) and she instilled in me lots of Swedish heritage and traditions which has made me who I am today. My dad's side of the family is German and Irish and the most likely the side of the family I get all my freckles from. Family is so important, and welcome everyone to discover more about them, their history, and share about their loved ones who make up the history of who we are!

Bridget Kilkenny was born on May 30, 1856 in Greater Bendigo City, Victoria, Australia to Paul Kilkenny (1826-1870) and Bridget Cloyne Simms (1830-1890). She had siblings Michael Kilkenny (1858–1929), Mary Ann Kilkenny Faderson (1861–1954), and Francis Kilkenny (1870–1956).
She married Jurgen George Wendel (1843-1891) in Victoria in 1872. They had children together, Mary Wendel (1873–1958), Wilhelmina Wendel (1875–1957), Carl Heindrich Wendel (1876–1959), Elsie Wendel (1878–1878), Alida Bridget Ann Wendel (1881–1970), Gertrude Wendel (1883–1973), Georgina Wendel (1884–1932), Amanda Katherine Ellen Wendel (1888–1967), George Joseph Wendel (1888–1888), and George Charles Henry Wendel (1891–1965).
Bridget then married John Benjamin Bain (1861–1905) in 1899 in Victoria and they had a daughter, Grace Sylvia Iris Janet Bain (1902–1974).
Louise Fick was born on September 24, 1838 at Sulsdorf in Insel Fehmarn, SHO Germany. She was in a relationship with Carl Heinrich Wendel, and had a child Margaretta Wendell Bedwell. Louise Fick died at age 80 years old on June 22, 1919 in Colbinabbin, VIC Australia. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Louise Fick.
Carl Heinrich Wendel was born on June 3, 1836 at Petersdorf in Insel Fehmarn, SHO Germany. He was in a relationship with Louise Fick, and had a child Margaretta Wendell Bedwell.
