Absolom married Ann Oakley in England they emigrated to Australia and had a son Henry, Ann and Henry Died 1860 , and in 1863 Absolom married Anne Elizabeth Oakman nee Wright, they had a son Charles in 1864 followed by a daughter Sophia in 1868 , then Absolom disappeared , can find no further mention of him !
Ann Elizabeth Oakman ( nee Wright) born England came to Aus in 1854 , her husband William Oakman drowned in the Barwon River 29 Dec 1860 , she then married Absolom Sumner in Geelong in 1864 and had 2 further children , being Charles born 1864 and Sophia born 1868 Sophia died 1869 and Absolom disappeared ! Ann died 1903 and is buried in Charlton Victoria !

She married Frederick William Oakman, and they were married until Frederick's death on November 13, 2005.
