2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

Walt was a lifelong friend and adopted family member of the Langridge family in Spotsylvania. He was in the Merchant marines and sailed the Great Lakes With James Langridge Sr for many years. He was like a brother to James and Frances and an uncle to the Langridge children. Walt moved in with the Langridge family near the end of his life here on earth. He loved to play cards and taught everyone to play Pinochle, Spades, Hearts, Rummy, 2 handed Solitaire, and Cribbage. Walter was an Army Veteran who enlisted in 1942 for the duration of the war plus 6 months. Walt's body was buried with full military honors in CULPEPER NATIONAL CEMETERY, 305 US AVENUE CULPEPER, VA 22701
