James B Platter was born circa March 30, 1923 in Boone County, Iowa United States to James Ward Platter, and had a brother Garland Ward Platter. He married Betty Joann (Anderson) Platter, and had a child James Robert Platter. James Platter died at age 91 years old circa September 23, 2014 in Clinton, Clinton County, and was buried at Rock Island National Cemetery
