Roy A. Updegrove (on the right) with Anadarko,Oklahoma buddy Walter Cyrus sitting on the front bumper of their GMC Ambulance during WWI. Taken in Coblentz, Germany, Feb. 13, 1919. Inscription on back written to my father, Bill Updegrove.

William Gonder Updegrove (on the right) was born Oct.5, 1905 in Anadarko, Okla to Thomas Franklin and Mary Jane Gonder Updegrove. He was the youngest of 9 children. He was a traveling minister from the age of 21 to 58. He married Paulita Gaye Sutphin in 1964. They had one child.

Lelia Clyde Weddle (Tate Sutphin)
This is photo of my grandmother, taken when she was 18. Most likely in Floyd Co. Virginia where she grew up. She first married James Tate, and they had three daughters. After his death, she married James Commodore Sutphin, and they had 4 daughters and 1 son.
I miss her very much. She died in 1978.

W.H.Harrison
My Great Grandfather, Harrison Updegrove. He was deputy postmaster of Van wert County and this was taken from his official portrait. He used the name "Harry" I'm not sure if he was William Henry Harrison Updegrove or I have seen it listed as William harvey Harrison Updegrove. His tombstone just reads H.H. Updegrove but my great aunt(his daughter) always said his name was Harry.
