His companions, Booger the cat, and Harley Boy, the chiweinee. Booger ran off one Fourth of July, and Harley resides with his "mama" and still misses his "Pops." And yes, Shelby is letting Booger lick his fingers. Why? I have no idea, other than Shelby loved his furbabies.

Shelby at his last home in Phalba TX Community outside of Mabank. He insisted on flying the Confederate flag in the the background in front of his shop, in honor of his namesake Confederate General Shelby. Shelby spent almost all his time outside working on his 3.5 acre piece of heaven.
