In the 1920 census, Edward was 2 years old and living with parents Philip, age 36, and Mary, age 30, along with siblings John, 19, Leona, 9, Alexander,7, Josesph, 6, Florence, 4, and Rosa, an infant. Both parents spoke Polish and English and Philip was a farmer.
In the 1930 census, Edward was 12, going to school, and living with his parents and siblings Leona, Alexander, Joseph, Florence, Rose, Daniel, James, Walter, Fred, and William, age 2. Father Philip was still a farmer in Sheridan Michigan.
In the 1940 census, Edward was living in Muskegon MI with his sister Leona and her husband, Aloysius Kartes. Aloysius was a head packer at Billiard Table Mfg. Edward was a trucker for a refrigerator plant. There were several lodgers in the household.
Edward, age 32 married Dorothy Dankowski, age 22, on November 26 1949 in Manistee MI.
