Jo Mayfield (Dedon) Carlisle of Folsom, Louisiana United States was born on January 21, 1964 in Covington to Melton Dedon and Bertha Cortez Willie Dedon.
Bertha Dedon was born on July 22, 1928 at COVINGTON, La. LEE ROAD, COVINGTON, LA., in Covington, Louisiana United States. She was married to Melton Dedon on August 18, 1965 at Judicial of the peace Home Lee Road, Covington, La., in Covington, St. Tammany Parish County, and had a child Jo Anne (Dedon) Carlisle. Bertha Dedon died at age 75 years old on September 6, 2003 at Lakeview Hospital 95 Judge Tanner Blvd, in Covington. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Bertha Cortez Willie Dedon.
He was a wonderful man, he was a great father to my momma's children and there was 9 of us, Lucy,Marlene, Eddie, Winton, Joseph, Janice, Gayle, Loyd, and me JoAnne. Dad LOVED gardening, he fed the whole neighborhood, people came after he passed looking for him, he was so great at growing everything, I once told him, you could make a broom handle grow, and he laughed with that jolly laugh he had. To know my dad was to love him, he could talk to a stop sign.

His parents was Lucian and Rosalie Velma LeBlanc-James Dedon. He had 5 siblings,
Lucille, Lucy, Louis, Eula, Johnny Dedon.
Luecenie Dedon of Saint Francisville, West Feliciana County, Louisiana was born on July 22, 1899, and died at age 78 years old in August 1977.
