Will H. Jacoby
I've "rescued" an old photograph of Will H. JACOBY of Amsterdam, NY which was taken in Amsterdam at the Dan B. Wheaton Studio in 1901. Will is noted as 5 years 10 months and 2 days old at the time and Carrie and Zackie's son. The address 27 Dewitt St. is also noted on the back of the photograph. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Will and his family:
William Henry JACOBY was b. 20 Jan 1896 in Amsterdam, NY to parents Zachariah Radcliffe JACOBY (1859-1932) and Carrie or Carey A. SHULER (1863-1945). Will had one sibling, a sister Mable Laurane JACOBY (1890-1898). Will married Wilhmenia MCGIBBON (b. 1901) and together they had a son, William Richard JACOBY (1929-2005). Will died 13 Aug 1966 in Amsterdam, NY and is buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Amsterdam, NY.
Census records provide the following details:
