Archie was the best grate grandfather...he would pick me up from school.. and we would go to his house and he taught me how to build things..some times he would half to leave to go drive cars for JACK HENRY ...and that's who Archie bought a 95 Dodge neon from for me..and a few days before he went in to the hospital Amanda & me had went and told him that she was pregnant and boy was he tickled pink...he had the biggest smile on his face and he looked at me and said I love u and u better take care of both of them and that was the last time I saw him .. " UR GONE BUT NEVER WILL BE FORGOTTEN" LOVE U PAP

Archie Leon Whitaker of Odessa, Ector County, TX was born on October 25, 1917 in El Paso, El Paso County, and died at age 85 years old on January 21, 2003 in Odessa, Ector County. Archie Whitaker was buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa.
