He was my dear father and loving grandfather of my CPA son Geoffrey.

About me:I haven't shared any details about myself.
My grandfather said he was too young to be a grandfather and directed me to call him Uncle Guido. He possessed a wonderful Italian accent and told me we were from nobility. My grandfather lived on 116th street, the original little Italy, where he opened 3 Italian grocery shops. Apparently he was the first to make colored pastas in NY and the working pasta makers were in the window. The first time I met my Italian cousin Luigi was when he stayed with “uncle Guido” in the US. I have been to the glorious city where the Cassarini family in Italy still hails. It is beyond beautiful and the village boasts a church from the tenth century. My cousins and their families are such loving people who welcomed us with open arms during two visits to Castiglione Dei Popoli.

Guido Cassarini of West New York, Hudson County, NJ was born on October 21, 1899 at Italy (Northern Apennine Mountains) Castiglione Dei Papoli, in Castiglione Dei Papoli, Italy County, Metropolitan Bologna Italy. He was married to Linda Caruso and they later divorced. He had children Donald Cassarini (Aka Cass) and Marion Cassarini. Guido Cassarini died at age 83 years old in July 1983.
