Karen Jean Tanner is the daughter of James Gilbert Tanner I & Beulah Pearl (Vaughn) Tanner.
Through her paternal lineage, she is the Great Granddaughter of many noble and notible Colonial Americans such as, Thomas Jefferson I, Colonel Bennett Goode, Colonel William Fly, and Captain John Goode I, II of Whitby, England whom built and settled in Henrico County, Virginia on their Tobacco Plantation known as, Whitby.
Through her 3rd Great Grandmother's lineage, 'Frances Knight Baskerville Seat', she is of 22 generations of the noble Knights of Baskervilles of Goosetrey, Cheshire, England of Eardisley Castle.
Frances Knight Baskerville Seat's son, Reverend William Henry Seat, is the Prophetic author of "The Confederate States of America In Prophecy", 1861, located in the archives of Duke University. Reverend Seat was a prominent minister whom ministered to noble courtly Kings and Queens of Europe. He was a member of the Texas Conference and is layed to rest in Goliad, Texas at his Methodist Church.

She left Texas in 2014, residing in many of the Southern Confederate States of the United States of America, conducting extensive research.
