Karen Lynn Bond of Ramstein-Miesenbach Germany was born on March 7, 1954 at Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport, Caddo Parish County, Louisiana United States to Janie E Lloid and Kermit Dee Lloid. She had siblings Karla Sue Lloid Autrey, Dee Wayne Lloid, Gregory Alvin Lloid, and Carl William Lloid. Karen Bond died at age 26 years old on August 18, 1980 at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Montgomery County, MD, and was buried circa August 23, 1980 at Oak Grove Cemetery Rd, in Jonesville, Catahoula Parish County, LA.
President Harding's Thanksgiving Turkey

The caption says that "President Harding should worry about the high cost of turkey - another Thanksgiving gobbler arrived at the White House today." (The box is addressed to President Harding. It is the gift of H.W. Mason of Crystal Springs Mississippi.)
Since the President didn't start pardoning turkeys until after the 1950's, this must be for the White House Thanksgiving dinner?
